Thanks for everyone's well wishes. My son did have strept throat. He's on antibiotics now and feeling much better. It's amazing how fast kids can get sick!
Last night we hired a babysitter. My husband and I went to his office's Christmas party. I'm not sure why they decided to have it on a Sunday. My guess is that someone forgot to make a reservation? Or maybe they are trying to cut costs?
It was a nice party. The sushi bar there was a big hit! I spent most of the time chatting with another mom of 2 boys. Her kids were a little older than mine but we still had a lot in common. Both of our husbands are from other countries and we share similar experiences dealing with it. So it was nice to chat with her.
I can't believe it's Monday already! I feel like I lost all of last week! With everyone being sick and so much to do the time just flies by!

Glad to hear your son is better. Mine had strep, too, a few weeks ago. My husband's office party was this past weekend, too! They've been doing it on Sunday, but did Saturday this time. So great when you meet someone at those things you can connect with!
Time just flies by from me in this month ever year.
Everything is SO busy this time of year! I can't believe that it's December... let alone almost Christmas!
