- I am a domestic goddess with 2 adorable angels who do everything they’re supposed to do. I vacation in the Bahamas on my own private island and sip Margaritas all day... Then I wake up and realize that I'm actually the maid, the gourmet chef, the chauffeur, the gardener, the butler, the banker, personal shopper and everything else my family needs. The Bahamas are actually the Seattle suburbs (at least no chance of a sunburn here!) but I still enjoy the occasional margarita. Sometimes it really is all about how you look at things ;)

Eleven days with no garbage pick-up? Yikes!
Mama, it's actually been more than 11 days with no garbage pickup. The last time the garbage truck came was 12/11. Today is the 28th, so that's 17 days without trash pick-up. And they are not expected to come back until our next scheduled trash day wich is 1/1. So hopefully they'll come on 1/2. So trash cans are overflowing all over the black street-lined snow... so festive!
Wow. Well, on the plus side, at least you know that Seattle *has* snow plows, right? ;) So did you buy a shovel yet?
