Tuesday night I attended the PTA meeting at my son's school. The meeting wasn't over until after bedtime. So my husband had to put the kids to bed without me.
The next day I asked my 6 year old how things went at night without me. He couldn't wait to tattle on Daddy.
6 year old: Daddy let us stay up late.
Me: Did he really?
6 year old: Yes! Our bedtime is 8:00 but Daddy let us stay up until 8:01!

- I am a domestic goddess with 2 adorable angels who do everything they’re supposed to do. I vacation in the Bahamas on my own private island and sip Margaritas all day... Then I wake up and realize that I'm actually the maid, the gourmet chef, the chauffeur, the gardener, the butler, the banker, personal shopper and everything else my family needs. The Bahamas are actually the Seattle suburbs (at least no chance of a sunburn here!) but I still enjoy the occasional margarita. Sometimes it really is all about how you look at things ;)

oooo I love it! Daddy can't get away with ANYthing. I do think (sometimes) that's a real benefit of having kids, don't you?
