Today while I was driving my 7 year old home from soccer practice he asked me, "Mom, which license plate has black on top, and some white and starts with an 'I' and is a short name? And it wasn't Idaho."
I gave the best answer I could. "I don't know."
"It must be Iran," he said confidently.
"I don't think it was Iran, honey. Do you think it said Illinois instead?"
"Oh yeah, maybe Illinois," he said.
Illinois. Iran. Close enough, right?

Iowa??? you might be surprised; he might turn out to be a geography teacher :)
betty
Cute. And very observant of him.
Your boys definitely pay attention to things and I think that's really neat.
Seeing as our illustrious President hails from Illinois, maybe the Iran connection isn't so far off. Just sayin'...
Great answer he had, Cookie... You have two smart boys. Wonder if it was Iowa?????
Hugs,
Betsy
Ha, ha! Iran! Hilarious!
Your boys notice things. That's great. I'm sure their future girlfriends will appreciate it.
that is adorable!
peace~
Hmmm... Indiana is a possibility. Iowa has a mostly light bluish background. Illinois doesn't have black at the top. I'm thinking Idaho given where you live? Because now I want to know what it was :)
That's cute!
Hahahahahaha! I would be so at a loss. I have no clue what license plates look like. But I would know that Iran would not be one LOL.
He'd be lost here due to all kinds of special interest plate designs available for a price (Whales, stick people, ect), n in summer folks from all over the country drive here, including for the summer Cape League college baseball teams.
Time to hang a world map on the wall for reference...
