Yesterday while I was on campus walking to my class there were a few tables set up with signs and balloons and such. One was sponsored by "Campus Events" and had a huge sign that said, "Free Hugs." Next to it was a smaller booth. That booth had a box with a sign that said, "Free flu care kits."
Get your flu kit and your free hug at the same time. Very efficient, no?

I just hope the free hugs don't come with free bugs - lol!
Hilarious! That's one way to do it!
sounds like multi-tasking to me, LOL. It would have been funny if there was then close by someone selling chicken soup :)
betty
Ha---I'd get the kit and say NO THANKS to the HUGS right now.... My hubby had to go to the doctor's office to the lab today to get his fasting blood work done. We went REALLY early because I didn't want to sit in the waiting room with SICK people all around. I was pleased to see that they offered masks to those who are sick...
Take care.
Hugs,
Betsy
LOL- ha! which to visit first???
very efficient and thoughtful - hope it wasn't too busy...
I had to avoid hugs today, cause I got a nasty cold! I'm not getting a flu shot either, unless it's free... no insurance.
I don't take hugs from strangers- not that trusting, I guess- Talon's comment is how I always think!
I never really understood the appeal of being hugged by a stranger. I think I'd go for the free flu care kit instead. :D
Did you get your free hug?
LOL! That is some great planning :)
Kind of makes you wonder if they were flu hugs. I think I would have passed on the free hugs. Maybe it's just me, but there's just something creepy about someone who wants to give hugs to random people. Maybe I should set up a table somewhere and offer to trip people for free. That could be interesting.
Hey, as long as you do the events in the right order, you're totally set. I was actually wondering what the future of free samples at places like Costco will be once the flu really gets going....
Very clever.
