My husband and I took our 2 boys ages 5 and 6 out to dinner this week. When we had finished eating, the waitress came by and asked if we needed any boxes. Then she looked at the kids and said, "Should I mention the 'D' word?"
I asked the waitress to give us a few more minutes. She left and I asked my husband what he thought, meaning should we offer the kids dessert or not. My husband understood and said, "sure, the kids can have it."
My 6 year old turned to me and said, "Mommy, I know what the 'D' word is."
"You do? What is it?" I asked.
"Done!"

- I am a domestic goddess with 2 adorable angels who do everything they’re supposed to do. I vacation in the Bahamas on my own private island and sip Margaritas all day... Then I wake up and realize that I'm actually the maid, the gourmet chef, the chauffeur, the gardener, the butler, the banker, personal shopper and everything else my family needs. The Bahamas are actually the Seattle suburbs (at least no chance of a sunburn here!) but I still enjoy the occasional margarita. Sometimes it really is all about how you look at things ;)
