And So It Goes

Today has been one of those days. Nothing special happened today. But everything about today drove me crazy. Here's an example of just one minute of a conversation with my kids. We are dog sitting and I said we needed to use the leash to walk the dog to our house.

“No we don’t.”

"Yes, we do. We don’t want the dog to get excited and run away.”

“Well it’s a short walk and the dog knows the way to our house.”

“We still need to use the leash.”

“Well our friends don’t have to use the leash because it’s their dog.”

“Yes, they do.”

“Well if we walk the cat then we don’t need a leash.”

Frustrating!!!!!

I can usually handle this kind of thing. It doesn't usually bother me. I'm not sure why it did today. But after the 8th or 9th conversation like that I started to lose it. And I still haven't found it.

(((hugs to you))) I totally understand; its like you are always wrong and they are always right and you're the mom; you are supposed to be right. Summers do get long.......actually I used to always say some days felt like a year but for the most part they did seem to go by too fast.

we can only hope tomorrow is a better one

I have those moments daily it seems these days. No matter what I say they have some sort of comment or question :)

Ahhhh, I'm familiar with those days. In fact, I'm currently having one of those weeks. Maybe it's something in the water?

I soooo know that type of frustration. I remember when my kids were younger secretly wishing they came with zipper-lips!

Yup. I know that feeling well. Everyday around 6pm, I feel like my head is going to explode after talking in circles for hours.

I get this. Fridays are the worst day for me with that kind of frustration. I think I just reach my limit by the end of the week. :)

My daughter would argue with a fence post. Sometimes, it drives me nuts!
