Yesterday my 5 year old asked me, "Mom, how much is a diamond?"
"That depends honey. But it's usually pretty expensive."
"Oh, I thought it was only 10 cents," was his reply.
"No, that's a dime. A dime and a diamond are different."
"Oh." He looked so disappointed.

I got this lovely Blog award from Mama Zen. Thanks MZ! If you haven't checked out her blog, you should!
And now I'm passing it on to Michelle at Honest and Truly, another great blog you should check out.

congrats on your award. too cute about your little one; too bad a diamond didn't cost a dime, wouldn't that be a nice surprise??
I'll go and check out that other blog you mentioned
betty
Damn right there's a difference. If my ex had offered me a dime to marry him I would have walked. Kinda wish he had now LOL
congrats!! I love mama zen. :) my son is always asking how much stuff costs, too
I have more dimes than diamonds. Well in fact I have no diamonds but my wife has one.
But if dimes werte diamonds we would be rich.
Haha! Perhaps my hubby and your 5 year old are on the same wavelength. Because when I saw my diamond, I thought it cost him a dime ;)
Congratulations on this award!
Awwww, thank you! See, I knew I'd stop by eventually! And now we'll see if I ever remember to umm pass it on. I'll try, promise! Thank you!
Congrats on your award!!
