He saw this picture on my computer screen and asked me what it was. When I told him it was the boo boo behind his ear, he started to cry. It's a good thing he can't see behind his ear! It does look much better today. The bruising and swelling have gone down a lot and he hasn't complained about it hurting at all. So now that he is feeling better, I got an email from my kindergartner's teacher. He got hit in the head with the swing at recess. They put some ice on it and he's ok. You know these things always happen in threes. Don't worry, we took care of #3 this afternoon.
My kindergartner tried to lock me out of the house. He pushed against the door to the garage. I pushed back and it hit him on the forehead. More ice and again he's fine. But that was #3. So that's it for me. Now it must be someone else's turn!

You realize that the second you say that this is your third and you're done, another set of three will start.... Kinda like my mom saying how great it was that the wee ones were pretty much healthy all winter. They've been coughing themselves to (and out of) sleep ever since.
Glad the ear is feeling better. I love how he had no idea what the picture was!
Oh man, that looks ugly - must have hurt. It would make me swear off taking baths - well, not entirely.

Actually Rick, the bath didn't casue the "owie." It was his trying get out of the bath caused it!

Speaking of not having additional accidents... Don't you love how when you go to the ER, they ask if this is your first time there? Shouldn't they ask if this is the only time there? Asking if it's the first, assumes there will be a second and third!
