Seattle Rain

We're getting some stormy weather here in Seattle. The television evening news stated that some places had record breaking rainfall amounts. My 7 year old overheard this and asked, "Mom, does that mean there is a new high score?" I think we may need to cut back on video game time.

This proud parent moment is brought to you by Nintendo.

lol! I love how video terminology can be applied to real life. See? There's an up side to all the technology!

I limit my 14 year old to weekends only and he has lots of Sat. chores to do first.
The xBox 360 has some sort of pull on them- calling to him.

High Score! Brilliant!

But of all the record breakers, rain isn't my favorite. Living in Seattle, you must have made your peace with rain, but I don't think I ever could. I'm a sunshine girl - through and through. Another reason I didn't sign up as a The Bachelor contestant and go for that cutie, Jason Mesnick. He turned out to be kind of a disappointment, didn't he. Ever see him and Molly out and about? If so, kick him for me. Okay?

Go, Mom ;) But hey -- look at how good his reasoning is. The ability to generalize is really important.
