Lunch Time

Today at lunch I heard my 7 year old say to his little 5 year old brother, "Let me know when you're all done lunch."
My 5 year old asked, "Why?"
"Because I'm going to eat your lunch when I'm done with mine."

You'd think I don't feed them enough! Then when I asked my 7 year old if he was still hungry and if I should prepare him something else to eat he said, "no."

Some days you just can't win.

Did I mention that there are only 23 days until school starts?

Your 7 year old sounds like a character! :)

At least he's trying not to be wasteful. My 7 year old only volunteers to eat her little sister's snacks and broccoli. She's on her own with everything else.

I'm guessing a sister would likely never say anythign like that to her sister or her brother. Now something like, "can I paint your toenails?" yes

If your 7 year old is offering to "help" finish a meal now, I wonder what will happen when he's a teenager!?

Be careful- Mr. Seven may be beginning the long, over-eater's road to gluttony n obesity!

I pick food off my grandkids plates sometimes cause they rarely eat it, n it gets tossed! That's alot of wasted money on food...

When my oldest bro was a teen, he used to drink everyone's abandoned champagne at weddings!

Cute post, Cookie from Washington.... Thanks for visiting my blog. We are back from vacation --and had a wonderful time. I am enjoying reading your posts. Please come back to my blog anytime.

You should write a book about what kids say.... They are just so precious...Are you sure you are feeding them enough????? ha ha ha
Hugs,
Betsy

Oh my that sounds familiar. Fourteen days here... for Mister Man anyway! Gotta love the contrarian nature of them. But of course we love them anyway :)

You got a human trash disposal in the making. We shouldn't be wasting food in times like these. Be proud!
