As most of you know, my seven year old is studying the holidays at school. He's learning all kinds of new facts.
Today my five is adding his own version of the classic Christmas carols. Maybe you already know, "Shrek the halls with bows of lolly... Fa la la la la la la la".
Or perhaps you can sing along to "Happy Hondakah"?
I must admit, I didn't understand what "Hondakah" was at first. My seven year old had to explain it. It turns out that my five year old likes Hondas and Hanukkah.
Should I be worried now?

What's not to like a Hondas and Hanukkah? Hondas are good cars. And, presents everyday for 7 days is very cool too. LOL
Sometimes kids are just a little smarter than we give them credit for, aren't they? ;)
Japanese cars and Hanukkah are totally a great combo.
lol! I'm not up on Shrek - but that could be his holiday tune!
What about Kwanza? What rhymes with it? Mazda?
Hondakah is part of Happy Honda Days, silly.
Well it being a Shrek Christmas it may be a green Christmas instead of a White one! lol
Love that kid's creativity. :)
Hope you are writing all of these down, Cookie, so that you can write a book about your sons and their 'thoughts about life'.... Too Cute!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
haha... that's cute! I always find it interesting in what ways my kid's teachers decide to "teach" about the holidays!
