Today is Monday January 4th. Most people are returning to work today after the New Year's break. Most kids are returning to school today after a long winter break.
Not my kids. They are off from school again today. Not for snow. It was a scheduled day off. I can't answer "why?" I think it's a cruel joke by the school.
One more day and things will be back to "normal."

- I am a domestic goddess with 2 adorable angels who do everything they’re supposed to do. I vacation in the Bahamas on my own private island and sip Margaritas all day... Then I wake up and realize that I'm actually the maid, the gourmet chef, the chauffeur, the gardener, the butler, the banker, personal shopper and everything else my family needs. The Bahamas are actually the Seattle suburbs (at least no chance of a sunburn here!) but I still enjoy the occasional margarita. Sometimes it really is all about how you look at things ;)

i'm in the same boat. our teachers are at school for a work day. i wonder what would happen if i dropped my kids off and sped away before anyone could stop me. because i've just about had it with the bicker twins.
I know one lady who is going to be celebrating TOMORROW--once the kids are back in school.... ha

Mine, too. But it's the college kids that are the most annoying--and they don't go back for WEEKS.
I want my house back. Who do I have to see for that?

I read these comments and just laugh to myself because mine are grown, but wait a minute, our poor parents were so anxious to get their kids back to school and we had a terrible snow storm. No school and another storm on Wednesday. I am sure no school, I am sure it is really difficult to get sitters sometimes isn't it, for working mothers?
Mine have had 3 weeks off and go back tomorrow. Now I just have to get rid of my partner as well. Any suggestions?
OH that IS a cruel joke. I'm so sorry. I actually wasn't happy to see them go, but more because that also meant I was back to my work schedule :) Enjo tomorrow!
