The second civil war started when the small states in Europe were fighting the big one. Then it moved over to Asia and Japan bombed Pearl harbor, so the US entered the war and bombed Nagasaki. Then Japan surrendered on a boat. And Canada signed in the wrong place.
This account was given by 6 year old. I heard him saying this to his friend yesterday morning. I think it may have something to do with our visit to Pearl Harbor while we were in Hawaii last week.

I always wanted to visit the USS Arizona, my dad did and he said all of the bodies were still under there (long decomposed of course) and they never pulled them out. Is that correct?
Yes, the sunken ship is below the memorial (the long white structure in the first picture). They didn't mention bodies, but I was told that it was "untouched" since it sank. From the memorial, you could look down (there was a glass bottom in one section) and see into the boat. It felt strange to see fish swimming all around.
I love your son's take on this part of America's history. As a Canadian, I am chuckling over "Canada signed in the wrong place".

So great to see photos of you and your very smart kids. What a lovely trip - Hawaii. I've never been there, but certainly have always been interested in Pearl Harbor, etc. Tell your little one that Miss Lynn thanks him for the history trivia.
